Krffl LLC ("Krffl", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect the limited information we collect through our mobile application ("App"), available on the iOS App Store and Google Play Store.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address.

The only information we collect includes:

• Device Identifier: A randomly generated device ID used to associate your preferences and activity with your device.
• Ingredient lists entered manually or through image recognition.
• Allergy preferences, if you choose to provide them.
• Search queries for recipe names.

This data is used solely for providing app functionality and personalizing your experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Generate recipes using your provided ingredients and preferences;
• Honor your allergy selections when generating recipes;
• Improve and maintain the performance and functionality of the App;
• Understand usage trends and fix bugs.

We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes, nor do we sell or share your data with third parties for such purposes.

3. Image Processing

If you upload photos of your ingredients, we may use on-device or cloud-based tools (including third-party AI services) to identify ingredients. These images are used only temporarily for recognition purposes and are not stored or retained beyond what is needed to complete the task.

4. Data Storage and Retention

• Your preferences (like allergy data) may be stored locally on your device or temporarily within our secure servers to support functionality.
• We retain your device ID for as long as your use of the App continues. You may request deletion by contacting us (see Section 8).
• No persistent user profiles or accounts are created.

5. Use of AI Services

Recipe generation relies on OpenAI’s ChatGPT API. Ingredient and allergy data may be sent to these services solely to provide recipe suggestions. These third-party services are subject to their own privacy policies and data handling practices.

6. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data from unauthorized access or loss. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights and Choices

• You may delete the app at any time to remove locally stored data.
• You may contact us to request that your device ID and related data be deleted from our system.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our practices or for legal reasons. Updates will be posted within the App and on our website if applicable. Continued use of the App after changes signifies acceptance.
